Through the Everett Dorey Diversity Committee, Everett Dorey has created a structural mechanism to implement the firm's founding mission of supporting a diverse and inclusive work environment and addressing the many issues facing attorneys of diverse backgrounds. The Diversity Committee initiatives include, but are not limited to: hire, retain and support diverse employees; nurture inclusion to ensure all employees work in a safe and supportive environment; ensure anti-discriminatory practices and foster equal opportunity through the removal of systemic barriers; and promote philanthropy and community service/support through partnerships and sponsorships.
To promote diversity around the workplace, Everett Dorey has implemented a Supplier Diversity Program to promote and encourages the use of supplier businesses that are historically underutilized, including businesses that are minority owned, women owned, veteran owned and LGBTQ owned.
