Biography

Misbah Rafiq is an attorney at Everett Dorey, specializing in a broad spectrum of legal areas, including environmental law, administrative law, employment law, complex general liability, and human rights. With a strong background in representing a variety of clients, Misbah has extensive experience working with public entities, non-governmental organizations, and both institutional and private clients.

She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Lewis & Clark Law School, where she demonstrated her commitment to leadership and equity by serving on the Faculty Appointments Committee and the Equity and Inclusion Committee for the Student Bar Association. During law school, Misbah received the Pro Bono Honors Award and a certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources Law. Her practical experience includes legal externships with Human Rights First in Los Angeles and the Office of Chief Counsel for the California State Water Resources Control Board, as well as internships with the Natural Resources Defense Council, Wildlands Network, and the Council of American-Islamic Relations. Misbah completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Irvine, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, she remains actively engaged in her community, serving as a Professional Development Coordinator for the Rahma Center and a Member of the Muslim American Society.
