Everett Dorey at the 2024 DRI Annual Meeting

Recently, Everett Dorey sponsored and partners Stacy Douglas and Shirley Jamneshan attended the 2024 DRI Annual Meeting in Seattle, Washington. The Annual Meeting is DRI’s flagship event, where civil defense practitioners come together to connect, learn, and grow their practice. With dynamic keynote speakers and numerous networking opportunities, this is the perfect chance to build lasting relationships and gain new perspectives in the field.

During the meeting, attendees were given the opportunity to participate in a service opportunity by packing bags with Blessings in a Backpack. Blessings in a Backpack mobilizes communities, individuals, and resources to provide food on the weekends for elementary school children across America who might otherwise go hungry.

Since Everett Dorey's establishment in 2017, the firm has devoted resources such as time, charitable donations, in-kind services, and employee volunteerism to promote social causes, address issues, and bolster the efforts of nonprofit organizations through pro-bono work.
